AN INTRODUCTION

Advantech Edu. Trust is one of India’s independent and volunteer non-profit organisations. Advantech Edu. Trust was founded on , 2008 by a small group of friends with a strong passion to change society today and build a better India for tomorrow. The organisation provides youngsters a platform to serve the society and bridges the gap between the educated and the uneducated. Our volunteers educate and mentor children from orphanages, slum and village community centres across the country to give them a better future, which will benefit them as well as our country. The learning experience is mutual – our volunteers gain perspective and the experience to mould themselves into tomorrow’s leaders.

Our Work

Advantech Computer TRUST strength as an organization lies in its ability to manage people, process and technology. In our dream to bridge the digital divide in our country we intend catering to all sections of our society which are not computer literate. We have started at the bottom of the pyramid by enabling those who have the least hope of getting computer literate in the near future.

Number of lives touched

Besides the number of children currently taking lessons from Advantech Computer trust there have been many more who have taken a few lessons but were unable to complete the course.Besides children there have been a few enthusiastic senior citizens who have also taken lessons.

Enhancing Employability

The course structure has been modified to make it accelerated so that the students are able to complete all lessons by the time they are ready to leave school. With it becoming almost mandatory to have some preliminary knowledge of using IT equipment to be eligible for applying to many jobs we are hopeful that those students who would want to take up employment after Class XII will find it easier to do so.
